Still Human deliver CPD accredited workshops to staff in education on a range of health and wellbeing topics including stress management, mindfulness, menopause and rest. Their workshops and courses are created and delivered by educators for staff in education.
Alongside their range of workshops, they also offer a 2-day Wellbeing Champion course which focuses on embedding staff wellbeing into the school culture. The training course equips participants with everything they need to effectively embed staff wellbeing into their organisation and inspire
long-term cultural change.
More recently they have launched an online Menopause Ambassador course. Given that 76% of teaching staff in the UK are female; 86% in Primary Schools, 93% of Teaching Assistants and 90% of support staff – knowledge around menopause is of particular importance to the education
community. The training has been designed so that you can have short-term impact and long-term sustainability around the issue of menopause within your educational setting.
They understand that staff retention for SEND and alternative settings is vital for the development of students who benefit from working with familiar faces. Embedding a positive wellbeing culture for staff working in these environments can help reduce burnout and allows your team to give their all to the students.
At Still Human, the team believe that staff matter - as when staff health and well being is nurtured, it positively impacts both the individual and the whole school community.
